Salvation
“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
- Mark 1:15

Man's Problem

The Bible says there is one true, living holy God who has created everything, including you and me. God created us in His image so that we could have a relationship with Him forever. The Bible says that because of our thoughts, motivations, and deeds, which the Bible calls sin, we have broken our relationship with God. Our sin separates us from a holy God and because of our sin, we are condemned to be separated from Him forever.

False Solutions
Men have tried to come up with many ways to not be punished for sin and have a relationship with God, but none of these deal with the problem of our sin. Just going through the motions of religion, baptism, prayer, or church will not deal with our sin. Doing good works, such as charity, will not deal with our sin. Trying to be better than “the other guy” doesn’t deal with our sin. We need someone to pay the price for our sin. Since we are the sinners, we cannot be our own saviors.

God's Solution

God loves us so much that He has made a way for sinful men to have a relationship with Himself. God the Father sent God the Son, Jesus, to become our sinbearer. Jesus paid for all our sins — past, present, and future. What we couldn’t do through our own efforts, God the Son, Jesus, did by coming to earth to die on the Cross for you. He took the punishment for your sin. Jesus became the way for sinful man to be reconciled to God. Three days after Jesus died for us, He rose from the grave and offers us salvation, not based on our own efforts, but on His finished work on the cross.
Place Your Faith in Jesus
Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.

In Your Name, Amen
